Join the Eskbank House Museum Garden Team for a session on Winter Pruning and Shaded Gardening with horticulturalist & arborist Jessica Lawn. Jessica Lawn designed the heritage garden at the museum as an imagined kitchen garden with a traditional layout and plantings that are listed as available in Australia in the 1800s, in keeping with the period of Eskbank House.
The session takes you through best practice pruning with demonstrations using the deciduous fruit trees and grape vine in the Eskbank community heritage garden, fondly known as Mary’s Garden. The will also discussions issues with shaded gardening.
Tea & coffee will be available and the museum is a beautiful place to bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic in the grounds.
